This is Major League Pickleball. MLP thrills with over 100 of the top-ranked professional players and some of the most influential team owners in professional sports. MLP features 20 hometown teams competing for standings points to reach the 2026 MLP Playoffs.
MLPLAY™ Format
Major League Pickleball (MLP presented by DoorDash) is an innovative coed team league with some of the most influential team owners in professional sports.
Teams compete under specific to MLP (MLPlay™ Rules) including rally scoring for tiebreakers known as a DreamBreaker™. Every match between teams consists of four games: Women's doubles, men's doubles, and two mixed doubles games. If teams are tied after these four games, an innovative singles DreamBreaker™ is played.

THE 2026
SEASON
The 2026 MLP calendar features 13 total events, consisting of nine (9) Regular Season events, the 2026 Mid-Season Tournament, and three (3) weekends of the 2026 MLP Playoffs, all taking place from May-August.

REGULAR SEASON
sTANDINGS
A collection of 11 teams will participate at each regular season event, split into groups, playing round robin Thursday to Saturday with the top teams in each group advancing to Sunday.
Following completed group play, teams will play one head-to-head match on Sunday, based on group play results. Sunday is where teams will earn their season standings points.

MLP PLAYOFFS
The regular season standings will determine the top 12 teams earning entry into the 2026 MLP Playoffs. The top 12 teams will qualify and be seeded No. 1-12, based on regular season standing points earned. Seeds No. 1-4 will receive First Round byes and begin play with the Quarterfinals in San Diego.
First Round (Dallas) will feature No. 5-12 seeds in action with winning teams advancing to the Quarterfinals (San Diego). The four winning temas from this round will advance to the Semifinals (New York City) with the two Semifinals winners advancing to the Finals (New York City) to determine the season's champion.

HYBRID
scoring
IIn 2026, MLP will continue a side out scoring system for the doubles format of MLP (e.g., Gender & Mixed). Games will be played to 11 points, with a winning margin of at least two points.
DreamBreakers™ will be played under MLP's fast-paced rally scoring format and played to 21 points, with players switching out every four (4) points.
